Data Update Frequency:

1. The sensor updates the data once an hour or when the variation reaches the pre-defined value.
2. You cannot set the refresh rate manually .
3. Alarms must be configured directly in the APP .
4. For real-time update, the USB powered version (TH06/TH16) is recommended.

Battery Use and Maintenance:

• Use only LR03-1.5V alkaline batteries . 1.2V rechargeable batteries may cause erroneous voltage readings .
• Do not mix batteries of different brands or models .
• Do not use old and new batteries together .
• Avoid low-quality batteries , as they may result in excessive consumption or configuration failure.

Installation and Connectivity:

• The sensor must be positioned in a location with a strong Wi-Fi signal , otherwise battery consumption may increase.
• The device automatically disables the network connection when there is no need to send data, to save power.

Sensor Errors and Accuracy:

• Small errors in temperature and humidity measurements are normal. The margin of error is ±1°C for temperature and ±5% RH for humidity .
• Sensor calibration can take between 30 minutes to 1 hour to accurately reflect the ambient temperature.

Temperature and Humidity History:

• Daily history is recorded with a minimum granularity of 1 hour .
• History is stored for 7 days .
• The APP displays hourly averages of measurements over time.

Integration with Voice Assistants:

• Compatible with Alexa and Google Home , allowing you to check temperature and humidity by voice .
• It is not possible to create temperature automations directly in voice assistants , only via the Tuya Smart Life APP.
• Not compatible with Yandex Alice .

Automatic Trigger Mode (Trigger Mechanism):

• The sensor uses an edge trigger (Edge Triggered – ET) , that is, it only triggers an action when the temperature or humidity crosses a certain value .
• Drive examples:
  • If the temperature rises from 24°C to 25°C , the device may turn on a fan.
  • If the temperature has already been above 25°C since the beginning , the activation will not be performed again .

Reasons for Fast Battery Drain:

1. Use of wrong or low quality batteries.
2. Installation in a location where temperature and humidity vary frequently , requiring constant updates.
3. Exposure to very low temperatures (below 0°C) , which reduce battery life .
4. Weak Wi-Fi signal , forcing the sensor to increase its transmission power.
5. High humidity can cause battery corrosion, leading to leaks.
